GO-CARE is a Faith-Based Charity Organization
Go-Care envisions an economically advanced service to the Lord Jesus Christ and its servanthood. It was formed due to the economic and financial challenges of pastors, deacons, the congregation, the church and its ministries, the vulnerable, and the community. It is a social program intended primarily mainly to unleash the economic potential of the pastors, deacons, congregation, churches, and its ministries, the vulnerable, and the community by training them in various skills for sustainable entrepreneurship and accelerated economic growth for themselves, their households, the church, the community they live in and the surrounding areas.
Objectives
To train and equip pastors, their spouses, other Christians, and widows in the community with entrepreneurship skills and knowledge in God’s way.
Provision of infrastructure for incubation services such as office space, meeting rooms, electricity, phones, internet, lab facilities.
To provide support in acquiring start-up financing and management of such finances.
Helping 50% of the pastors and other Christians in Malawi develop sustainable economies, primarily through empowerment in entrepreneurial skills, by the year 2040.
To foster business connectivity, such as business linkage and networks, among pastor entrepreneurs (i.e., micro clusters) and with standards assurance service institutions.
Improve and provide water and sanitation health care to churches, schools, and communities.
Assist the vulnerable, orphans, and child-headed homes with safe accommodation, food, school fees, and entrepreneurship skills.
Provide relief services to communities during times of famine, disease outbreaks, and all other natural disasters that may put people in life-threatening positions or economic hardships.
Provide counseling support to those who are traumatized in any way, I.e., the death of a spouse, child, or father.
Teaching the dangers of HIV/AIDS and how to take care of the infected and affected, including good nutritional practices.
